The Arrow Of God, Closes His Ears, Dulls His Sense, Trims His Will, And Waits For Instructions From All That God Has Made, And Flys On The Trigger To A Perfect Score Of A Life That Cannot Never Be Understood By Those Who Are Using Their Eyes, To See In A World That Is Much Much Bigger Than You And Me.
The Foundation of worship is faith. That without which "no man can please God".
Our ancestors "TRUSTED" in God. That forms the foundation of their many cultures and traditions which we now disrespect in the regard of unscientific, science.
Those who marvel at the Pyramids, point at the lack of modern tools and machines and fail to see the failing intelligence of a dependency on the senses for direction in a world that is beyond comprehension. I know, that our ancestors built marvels, by submission and more marriages would last, if this word was restored to use.
The scientist claims knowledge of the world that is in fact better described by the faith filled stories of our ancestors of their Gods, Ancestors and Creation.
Modern social theories about the role of men and women, child rearing, animals, water, medicine, food and all other things that enable the function of society, claim civilization and modernization, yet the more things change the more they remain the same, all just by another name and it comes to pass that 3,000 years later, there is "nothing new, under the sun".
Faith, is by simple definition "complete trust or confidence in someone or something".
I trust in God, that is the foundation of my life and should be the foundation, for all who aspire to be "Arrows of God".
To believe without trust, is to agree to the story told by one and then upon the retelling by another, to be confused.
To have faith is to trust, and therefore to accept the story of one, without regard for the retellings of all others.
This makes faith both strong and dangerous, because wrong faith has lead to more murder and destruction than any other ideas in life, including greed and jealous combined. So how do you know that your faith is good for you?, and how do you ensure that it does not become bad for me?
GOOD FAITH
Faith in God, must be completely separated from Faith in Religion, otherwise it becomes a very dangerous notion.
This article is a discussion on Faith in God, not in the African Renaissance Order or King Ifeanyichiukwu Oruruo or Any platforms, Persons or even Ideas but strickly on the giver of life ALONE and the simple recognition, that "There is God".
This is Good Faith because without faith in God, this world is a completely disastrous experience and you are at risk of over reacting to the "realities" of life and wrecking it further.
Good Faith, is found in the age old knowledge that is not in question in any African system of beliefs, across the continent.
From time Immemorial, all African cultures, at all corners of the continent believed that "There is God" , a maker of the Universe and "all things that are".
By reason of innate knowledge and historical accounts, all of our ancestors believed without fail in God and it would be an idiotic notion to think that they were all wrong.
Good Faith is the simple acceptance of the existence of God and the refusal to accept possession of God by any tribe, religion or ideology. The notion of God, as a standing order of existence, that exists independent of all things, supports all things and is infallible, incorruptible and fair in all of its dealings.
This foundation makes it possible to sharpen your edges and submit to being an "Arrow of God".
ORDER
The African lived a life of ORDER.
1st things first, random things in the middle, last things last. This worked until the White man arrived, with his Gin and Bible, and through systematic desimination of falsehoods and the most customized versions of Christianity, he murdered our "faith".
This is by no means an attack of Christianity.
Wherefore Christianity means a followership of Christ, it is a good notion and a topic I would like to avoid in this article. However, I only touch on it as a part of our history.
On arrival, the Colonist brought with him the most modified versions of his Religion, adapted for conquest and the destruction of truths in so far as they were not from him. He weaponized Christ for the destruction of family, the disintegration of community and the Justification of abominations in so far as it gained him a tactical advantage in the lives of the African. He does it still today, with sexual deviances and economic dependencies.
The end result is a continent of "members" who know nothing about Worship and Communion with the source of their being and the "order" of all things. As a result we are "faithless" and out of order because our beliefs in God, are not "founded" in faith.
Just like in Engineering, there are processes, and in Cooking recipes, there are processes, and in Teaching children there are processes, in all areas of life, the world progresses from one process to the other and to this end standardizes randomness to arrive at order. Without order a Hot Tea made of Ice Water would still be Hot Tea just because you want it to be, and your Wife would be mine just because I like the idea.
Life and the world demands processes and the process of a life as an "Arrow of God" starts when you know that "there is God". belief is a step in the right direction but it is only effective in making you an Interested party or a member, it is Faith - Blind Trust that you can fashion Yourself to be a flying "Arrow", in the hands of the creator.
WHY ARROW AND NOT BOW
The Arrow is not a Bow, it pulls no strings and it is definitely not a hunter, it sets no targets, it is a tool at the last end of the "order" and only executes. It gets the pleasure of maneuvering to the target and must sharpen itself in order to pierce but it does not engage in the business of "knowing" the business of the day, ahead of time.
The Arrow is submissive, yielding to the intentions and demands of the world (Bow) and the Hunter (God), in order to strike the right target (Destiny). It does not contend with either, nor contest the task, it complies in "blind trust" and full confidence that the order of things is in fact, in order and any interuptions will fall "Out of Order".
An Arrow of God, is someone who has "chosen" to accept the order of creation as "perfect" and needing not interuptions or modifications, less the contributions stored in him for its advancement and Sustenance.
Creation like a Car, must be serviced and the Arrow of God is at its service. It is our duty to make amends for the Rough driving of Colonial Miseducation, the terrible Accident of a loss of our Faith in God, the eventual Oil leak of Selfish regimes, Fake men of God, Bastardized Culture Masquerading as traditions, the broken Windshield wiper of Marital strife, children who would rather go abroad and the busted tire of our desire to be anything in this world and go anywhere in this world but to where we are destined to fly.
The Arrow must without delay or consideration for himself, fly in the direction of solutions for himself, his family, his community, his nation, his continent, his earth and his Universe.
I am both intentional in my use of "his" and in the order of the tasks.
Often I hear the notion of sin in relation to others and God, this negates the fact that in most cases, the primary sins of men are against themselves. Gluttony, Sexual Addictions, Myopia etc., may eventually affect your relationships with others and with God, but the primary victim is you, who now has extraordinary dependencies that ruin your experience of life.
I also often here about life as if it was a career move, with many notions of independent woman, boiling down to paychecks, children's view of parental care ending in food range and adult appreciation of their children ending in their economic return on investment.
Wrong order.
Man is first himself and for himself, then he progresses to his contributions to his own family, then community and up the chain, until he yields fruits for the continuity of the world (Universe).
It is this continuity and the role you play to aid or abate it that God considers goodness or sin. It is this task that can never be "known" as it is too big to comprehend, but you can comprehend the notion of God, and find trust in God and from there Yield to design, such that you are never off the mark, in aligning with your role, in the order of things.
When you recognize that God is the maker of the Universe, then you can appreciate why it is impossible for God to be unconcerned, negligent or absent minded about all that happens to you, you can also understand how busy the creator is, and why God cannot waste time attending to your refusal to believe.
This is not about the limits of the powers of the creator to be everywhere at all times and in everything all at once. A majority of Africa's original orders of worship recognize this "Omni-all" , present, potient, science etc., "Omni-omni". It is about God's refusal to attend to the powerful stupidity of your refusal to produce your maker while claiming that he is not, this coupled with your "scientific" notion that there is no God, while claiming to be Lord over the heated pieces of rock you call technologies, non of which you can fabricate at the end of a life of "science" experiments.
For all of his advancement, man has never been able to invent a simple rock.
The inability of man to replace anything in creation, without calling on creation is all the evidence you need to have "Faith" in God, or to at least acknowledge that you are not in control of anything beyond your tiny lab that sits as a speck of dust in the earth and is much too microscopic to be discussed in the Universal context, "without God".
For nothing to claim that there is no God, is the height of insult, and equally as the elephant is too tall to recognize the noise the ants make when they discuss its inexistence. Negligence of God is only a problem for you, as your ignorance cannot affect God's next step, equally as an Ant cannot impact the foot paths of the Elephant, except as a sacrifice and fleeting accidental offering to the great beyond.
My people (the Igbo's) believe in the duality of things. The male and female, up and down, good and evil. As such Faith in God is counterparted with equal knowledge (Awareness and Faith without love) of the Devil.
It is here that the futility of your faithless life resides. While God may merely ignore you, the devil will love the vacuum of a Godless life, so that evil can tilt your life in a perfect alignment with vices and you can dive into depression without a swim suit.
Without Faith it is impossible to please God but the Devil who is the "Inverse God" will be perfectly elated by your lack of trust and guide you with loving hate into a life of depression and suppression. He who refused to be an "Arrow" will become a "Bow" and "Hunter" assuming strategic importance, where he has no capacity to manage value and in the end, progressively succeeding in hunting creation.
BOW
Why is it that random nature is often more beautiful than the best man made environments?
The Bow is the world.
Every event in the cycle of the world is a registered and willful occurrence, that starts as designed and yields itself in blessings or curses inline with human and animal interjections or Interruptions.
Our ancestors, recognized that the world was alive and honoured it. The "civilized" call this idol worship and burn forests to farm smaller fruits, than the ones growing in the trees.
The "Arrow of God" submits to the perfect "order" of this design and therefore makes use, but does not direct. The Arrow flies in the direction of order, which flows Seamlessly if it listens to the signatures of the bow. Nature will always show you, its best use.
Streams flow, in perfect alignment with natural design and the drinking thereof does no harm, but when we divert to create Dams and Estates, floods respond to our deviance, in "order" to move the fish to where they "pray" to be.
Yes, I just insinuated, that Fish pray, further than that, I insist that often their prayers are better than yours because they do not have Social Media to convince them of the greatness of dams over a world in which day and night, needed no light, as such they pray with Authority and the knowing that only faith can give. They don't simply ask, they rather remind creation, of their right to live and point to your Interruption as a nuisance to creation.
The world is built for us, yet due to a lack of faith in God, we spend each generation making it harder to live in it.
Our ancestors did not have electricity but they also did not need it, because the moon lit paths were safer than our Halogen streets, they did not have bore holes and pipe borne water, but they also did not need it, because no fool was fool enough to Defecate in the stream when farm lands were shopping for arses with manure to deposit.
Having "advanced", we continue to leave our "Arrowed" position and attempt to play the role of nature and be the Bow. We therefore dictate for mountains where they are road Blocks and Tell Streams that they have too many curves and now even Yell at the rain with chemicals, such that it rains down clouds that were Merrily travelling to were they wanted to "bless".
If we had faith, we wouldn't play "Bow" and we would leave nature alone. This does not mean that all "uses" of nature is wrong, it just means that we should submit and allow it to tell us where it needs help. The Bow will send the "Arrow" right where it should be.
In essense, if you have faith and respect the supremacy of God, and the Order of Nature, then you will take the cue from the rain to go in doors, and you will respect yourself enough to make Umbrellas, but also respect Rain enough, to never try and stop it.
TARGET
Which of these roads lead to heaven?, or a place where we can get lunch?
Last week, I treated the topic, Akara Aka (Destiny), That Which Cannot Be Denied!, please try and read it.
The entire essense of your life, is destiny. It is "Akara Aka", a pre-ordained destination and precise conclusion to all aspects of your life including Education, Marriage, Children, Career, Address, Funny Jokes, Death and Life.
To believe this nonsense, you need faith.
If you do not have faith you will use logic to set your own targets and you will leave the way of the Arrow.
The challenge with setting the target is that creation is too large for you to factor your position into perspective and to know the impact or lack Thereof, of your most Well-Intentioned actions.
Faith allows you to submit to the supremacy of the almighty and to let God, select the target. Your focus should be on sharpening your tip and learning to fly in the winds of man, Nature, Spirits and time, such that when the Bow strings, you can respond in perfect flight and hit the target, which is your peculiar mission in this massive sand dune, called creation.
Consider yourself an ant in the land of Elephants, how great is your view that you can predict when you will be stepped on, or where is safe, or what it would take to save the elephants.
Without Faith, you will see yourself as inconsequential and fail to move the few pebble that will tip the rock and save the Elephant from the falling tree by merely startling it. Without Faith you will spend your days as an Ant, galivanting with random Ant Chicks, Smoking brown Ant dust and doing all the lovely Ant things, all to end up being fallen on by the Elephant as the Tree hits it dead, right above your Ant hole.
The essense of "Faith in God", is the submission that is required to flow into the impossible yet perfect order, that guarantees a life worth living. It is about understanding, that all life is about simple chain reactions that are triggered when you "believe" and act on that belief with "Blind Trust", when all facts are "not" on the table.
The greatest weapon of the Devil is that it convinces us either of our Insignificance or overstates our significance such that in either feeling sorry for ourselves or full of ourselves, we strike the blows that kill us (emotionally, Spiritually, in life), by trying to pick targets for ourselves as if we have the capacity to "understand" anything, about what is going on in this massive Universe of "God's" creation.
BLIND TRUST
More people believe that things, like this are real, simply because they are shown on T.V, than in the God that makes eyes.
Isn't it odd that people believe that an Atomic bomb can end life on earth and also that a "Big Bang" made it? Huh?
Isn't It odd that people Believe that if they are shot, they will die, but they find it hard to believe that by a shot of accident, they can find the perfect wife, Capital, Mental peace, at a fluke and in the same moment of a bullet shot? Huh?
Isn't It odd that people believe that they can die by fighting evil, but not equally that they can by saved by being on the side of good? Huh?
The devil is such an effective "God". In short, the Devil is the God of Evil, as God is the God of Good.
If you believe in Evil, but not good, is that not a bit of registered stupidity? Are you not certifiably stupid? if you agree that a bullet can kill you, but that in an equal split second, there is nothing that can save you, is that not mathematically unbalanced?
Can you believe in clothes, without accepting nudity?
Can you believe in Birth, without Accepting an Afterlife?
If we come from Nothing, aren't we nothing?
Why would anything, make nothing?
Where can nothing come from?
If anything, makes you, is that thing not God?
If you're smart, how much smarter, would be the maker of "Everything"?
What made you?, Show me, I would like to see it.
Recognize your position my friend.
If you cannot answer, then Blind man, trust my eyes, and if you cannot, hear my words.
In all the History of Africa, ALL of our ancestors have accepted the Notion of God the Almighty and God the Creators, in one form or the other. They have also accepted the Notion of the Devil in one form or the other. They have also accepted the notion of Good and Evil, Good and Evil Spirit, Order and Nature, Blessings and Curses.
Now your Educatedself, that can barely provide Light and Water to your childrens in the Nightmarish daylight that you have either created or accepted, claims to know more than all the ancestors of Africa combined.
If there was a big Bang, between you and them, who is closer to the day to know what the light looked like?
I believe in the world and God of my ancestors. I have also registered by pure evidence of experience the inconsequential and Infinitesimal nature of all of humanities "Interruptions" of nature and I submit to the Infallibility, incorruptibility and Fairness of God.
Without defining God (I will humbly attempt a summary of this in the future), if you cannot prove Good, yet believe in Evil, aren't you a nice little "Arrow" in the hands of the Devil, pointing at your very own heart.
If you can have Faith in Death, then life is a Given, if you can have Faith in Men, why is it that you think of your maker as weaker than its creation?
If you can fear men, why do you disregard God, the maker of everything.
It is because the Devil, has blinded the world with experiences and events that present the semblance of limits that do not exist and expanded for the greedy, a notion of unlimited Power that is equally beyond man. Half of us cower in fear of the world, without God, the other strike in confidence at all of creation without God.
The Arrow of God, closes his ears, dulls his sense, trims his will, and waits for instructions from all that God has made, and flys on the trigger to a perfect score of a life that cannot never be understood by those who are using their eyes, to see in a world that is much much bigger than you and me.
Blind trust, that is faith, and without it, it is impossible to please God, or at all to live life and in the end, Receive a score that can be read out loud.
